About Me

Hi! I'm Sahar, a strategist—but what makes me one is quite interesting. . .

  • As a Pakistani American, not seeing myself in media influenced me to grow culturally rooted brands. My identity shapes how I approach strategy—grounded in deep cultural insight.

  • An overthinker at heart, I’ve learned to channel curiosity into discipline. I lead with it over fear, constantly seeking to uncover what drives human behavior. Not just a skill but a mindset, I’ve refined my problem-solving prowess through practice, analysis, and creative exploration.

  • Understanding people isn’t just part of my job; it’s part of who I am. Growing up with a disabled sister shaped my emotional intelligence. Being able to see beyond the surface makes me adept at uncovering insights that others might miss—ones that transform good strategies into great ones.

  • With a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion and an appreciation for art, culture, and history, creativity is second nature to me. I don’t just appreciate aesthetics—I understand how they shape stories, influence behavior, and connect people to brands. When I couldn’t put this narrative into words, I moodboarded—pulling only from my camera roll—until I found the words.

  • When I’m not perplexed with work, you’ll find me curating Chinatown dumpling crawls, talking back to my cat, hyperventilating at the gym, giving my friends an impromptu lecture on skincare and sunscreen, or chasing my next thrill through unplanned adventures. Not everything requires strategy—sometimes, spontaneity and chaos are best.

P.S. I can probably write a thesis paper on sunscreen.
